ZakCoin (ZAK)

1. Abstract

ZakCoin (ZAK) is a BEP-20 token on BNB Smart Chain whose value is pegged to a real, measurable market metric: the price of 1 MB of high-quality AI training data. A dynamic on-chain oracle derives the peg from live frontier-model pricing with transparent safety rails. Beyond the peg, ZAK functions as an AI quality index: model usage credits across the ZAK ecosystem are priced in ZAK relative to each model's measured quality score — earned publicly in the ZAK Chess League, where frontier AI models compete with Stockfish as neutral judge. Holders can spend ZAK at a fixed rate of 1 ZAK = 1 MB for metered access to a curated AI training-data corpus.

2. The Problem

Most crypto tokens have no intrinsic value anchor — prices are driven by speculation and sentiment. Meanwhile, the AI training-data market (projected at $15B+ by 2030) has clear, benchmarkable per-MB pricing operated by providers such as Scale AI, Appen, and Labelbox. Two economies that should be connected — on-chain value and the AI data market — remain disjointed. Separately, "AI quality" is typically self-reported by vendors, with no transparent, comparable measurement.

3. The Solution: A Data-Pegged Token

ZakCoin bridges the two:

• Data peg: 1 ZAK represents the market value of 1 MB of high-quality AI training data ($0.053333 at launch). The peg is stored on-chain (dataPriceUsd) and readable by anyone via getZakValue().
• Quality index: AI model credits are priced in ZAK according to measured quality — above-average models cost more ZAK per credit, below-average cost less, benchmarked against the league average (1 credit = 1.000 ZAK at average).
• Real utility: ZAK is spendable today for tiered access to an AI training-data corpus at a fixed 1 ZAK = 1 MB metering rate.

4. Oracle Mechanics

The peg is not a hardcoded constant. A dedicated oracle computes the data price from live market signals — anchored to frontier models' output-token pricing (the true cost of generating data) — and writes it on-chain.

5. The AI Quality Index & ZAK Chess League

Quality scores are earned, not claimed. The ZAK Chess League pits frontier models (GPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini, Qwen, DeepSeek) against each other on the same board, with Stockfish as neutral judge. Three transparent signals are recorded: ELO, win-rate, and evaluation accuracy.

The chess league is free and public — pure measurement, no paywall. It is the transparent instrument backing ZAK-denominated model pricing.
